About Magi-Moo

Magi-Moo... the name inspired by my Cowboy-Corgi Magnolia, and products 100% made with love (from a cow heart) 🐮🧡

Yes, you did read that right... a cow heart! Back in 2014 I had gotten SUPER sick with sepsis, which had damaged my mitral valve. This resulted in open heart surgery where the doctor repaired my valve with a bovine patch. As someone that is now part cow, I have been obsessed with cows and cowhide.

In 2020, after I married my best friend (and one of Mag-Moo's biggest supporters) I needed something to do with my time. So I rediscovered my love for making jewelry and decided to try to share my creations with the world!

Magi-Moo is all about creating one-of-a-kind pieces using genuine products. As a geologist, I take pride in knowing that all of the stones used are genuine. I also take pride in knowing that each of my creations are unique (just like we are)! All of the cowhide used are made from scraps I purchased from other small business friends- we try to use as much of the hide as possible to limit what gets thrown out.
